An initial Consultation in Jordan will include the pilgrimage leadership, theological resource group, those bishops serving in majority Islamic settings and other key leaders.a look through the the entire brochure and the schedule, makes it pretty clear that a full-blown conference will take place in Jerusalem. Even if they claim it is a pilgrimage. So why should we believe any claims they make that this so-called pilgrimage is not the next step in splitting the Anglican Communion? Especially given some of the Focus Topics listed on the agenda.
Mark Harris has some thoughts on his Preludium blog. He draws pretty much the same conclusion I do about the Jordan and Jerusalem pieces of GAFCON. You should also read Father Jake's commentary on bishops who have accepted or declined invitations to the Lambeth Conference.
